Starting with my CYMERA festival catchup. This festival of science fiction, fantasy and horror writing is happening in Edinburgh this weekend, but luckily though I can’t go I bought a digital ticket in advance. So I’m just now watching a talk from Saturday morning (Doctor Who and Star Trek content!). Very much up my street!

Nice to know Una has another book out. She used to be a regular on DW, but I haven't seen her post here for a while now.

She was ostensibly there to chat about her Star Trek books, but basically ended up enthusiastically chatting about Doctor Who, Sarah Jane Adventures, Class and so much more :)

I originally got to know here via Blake's 7 fandom. Used to see each other at conventions, but I've dropped out of the convention loop.

She recently - well a year ago - novelised a couple of the original Blake's 7 episodes for Big Finish. Which has been released as part of a (rather expensive) boxset of the first series stories in novelisations. Not practical for me to read in this format since it's only in print. But I gather from reading interviews that she had fun working on it. Her stories were Bounty and Deliverance.
