Aurora photos

Making another rare exception re posting Martin's photos here. These are of the aurora borealis, a couple of hours ago, photographed outside our home in Dundee, Scotland.

Wow, those are glorious!

It was so great to see. We see aurora quite a lot here, but usually much fainter, lower in the sky, and just plain harder to see. We are on the edge of a city so light pollution is an issue. But last night was massive. There may be strong aurora again tonight.

Sorry to hear that! We usually have cloud when sun activity is most active leading to biggest aurora. This was a very rare exception for us!
