Quantifying accordion play

This just came up on the accordion sub Reddit! Not an easy question for me to answer. As I said: “Another very long time player, at about 45 years for me, since an extremely young age. I was never the best at practicing! But did put in a lot more hours before I was 18, and especially before my progressive neurological disease started at age 22. Now I rarely play, but still do as I can (I was this afternoon). I reckon my total would be probably midway between 5000 and 10000. There are good reasons why I’m not a virtuoso player ;)”
