vivdunstan: Portion of a 1687 testament of ancestor James Greenfield in East Lothian (historical research)
Been having a bit of a time travelling afternoon, rediscovering a whole load of bumf from the SHARP Antwerp book history conference I spoke at in 2014. I even found my husband's lanyard with wifi details on the back! He was accompanying me, free, as my wheelchair pusher/helper. Happy memories.

I gave a talk about Doctor Who and its fanzines, which was very well received, and entertained the audience immensely. Otherwise I slept a lot, on alternate days, and saw a bit of the conference, and some of Antwerp. Martin explored while I was sleeping. My over riding memory is of old buildings and cobbles. The latter are not fun in a not high tech manual wheelchair! But we had a marvellous time.

Very disappointed with publisher Unbound today. I was going to back their new book of Douglas Adams Hitchhiker's TV scripts. But on going to the website today - which has upgraded, and needed me to reactivate my account - I found all my past fulfilled orders no longer in my Unbound account, including all ebooks. Only unfulfilled orders are showing. Unbound now deliver ebooks only via proprietary app Glassboxx which is poor accessibility wise. I will buy this book, but not via Unbound.

Well worth tuning in to during the UK day or evening. Even now at 8.30pm UK time!

vivdunstan: Scene from The Greatest Enemy episode of Robin of Sherwood (robin of sherwood)
Last weekend there was a 40th anniversary Robin of Sherwood convention in Wales. Which I couldn't attend, but was able to follow to an extent through the Facebook group.

A number of the programmes and convention packs for attendees were left over at the end, and are being sold on. Fingers crossed I have managed to nab one.

And a number of dealers who were selling goods at the con are also selling some of their remaining stock. I have today ordered a couple of fridge magnets and a Hooded Bear from Artemis Creations in Birmingham. I shall of course call the bear Robin ...

I also have a crowdfunded new Robin of Sherwood graphic novel to enjoy, and look forward to reading the Look-In comic strips (which I think have now sold out on their second print run).
