War through a stuffed toy's eyes
Oct. 9th, 2023 05:51 amBriefly sitting up, and just played my 5th IFComp 2023 game. This one was written by someone in Russia, and is a powerful message against war in Ukraine, crafted in the form of a tale about a stuffed toy trying to save its little person. I had some critiques re the user interface, but it was a moving piece. The other person in the intfiction forum who's reviewed it so far also found it powerful.
Ukraine national anthem
Feb. 28th, 2022 02:46 pmManaged a brief accordion practice and work on my new accordion arrangement of the Ukraine national anthem. Still have to sort the entire middle portion, but really happy with how the opening and final parts are sounding. Nice harmonies that I find comfortable to play. It’s a nice tune. That’s my usual sheet music editing arrangement, with my Pelikan M200 propped up. I find this fountain pen sturdy for using around the sheet music stand, and not eg a problem if it falls off. The EF nib also works well on the printout paper for noting extra harmonies and chord changes.
