Martin's work company are donating £50,000 to save the Mills Observatory. It's a spinoff company from the University of Dundee. A very successful space technology company. That believe passionately in this historic and well-used custom-built public observatory, and its importance to the people of Dundee and surrounding areas.

Facebook reminded me that 5 years ago today I started investigating the 200 year history of 166 Nethergate, Dundee where Martin works. Former Dundee Uni Careers building, now HQ of spinoff company STAR-Dundee. 49 page report. Print copies with Dundee Uni Archives, Dundee City Archives & Historic Environment Scotland. Here is the PDF "contact sheet" showing mini images of the 49 pages in the final report resulting from my research. Including architect plans, much text, family tree and photos.
