Watching Doctor Who 40/14/1.3 Boom

I’m going to put most of this in a serious spoiler cut, which covers through to the 2025 series too. But in a nutshell I liked it a lot, found it a very tight plotted programme, and remarkably effective. 9/10 rating from me. Of course the huge surprise was Varadu Sethu who has been cast in the 2025 series appearing as the female Anglican soldier Mundy. This was hidden in British TV listings and cast lists in advance. Though she’s in the after programme on screen credits. I kept thinking throughout that the character looked like her, but was thinking I was just muddling up similar faces! Quite how Mundy and ???? (I do know the rumoured name for the 2025 character but won’t list it here) connect or not is yet to be revealed. But intrigued. And also we had the ongoing puzzle of actress Susan Twist who is appearing in every episode, this time as the ambulance AI. How does that work? Had she hacked the software? Boggling.
