My husband took a photo of my weekly main pill pot last night as he was filling it. Says he liked the colours! These are just some of the pills I have to take each day throughout the week. Thanks to NHS Scotland I get these and other medical treatment free of charge. I don't even pay for prescriptions.

Yup. Someone else last night commented "rattle rattle!" in response :) I have 15 permanent repeat prescriptions and of those some are multiple pills taken at a time. And this picture shows just my first set of pills of the day throughout the week. There are also a hefty bunch taken at bedtime. But hey, they're keeping me alive, so I don't complain.

Wow… that’ next level, for sure. Glad it is free. We have a patchwork of drug coverage plans where I live, seniors and low income are generally covered by the province.

I do like the term "pill pot". It is so much easier to say than "that pill thingy" which is what I call it now. That’s a keeper!

In parts of the UK (e.g. England) most people have to pay a small admin fee for each prescription, or buy a longer-term prepayment certificate which can be effective if they are getting many. But in Scotland prescriptions are free for all. People in the UK do not have to pay drug costs for prescriptions. It's part of our NHS coverage.

Yes I like "pill pot" too! I recently upgraded to this new whizzier model, as I was adding more and more chunky pills. It accommodates them well. Though this doesn't include the many pills (at least half as much again) I take at a different time of day.

My husband fills my pill pot each week for me.
