Rewatching Babylon 5 and just got to A Voice in the Wilderness part 1. Surprised by the lovely understated Draal performance - I’d just remembered the later recast. And now also remembered we still have the Phoenix Comicon and Space City Con panel videos to watch (I bought the disc version some years ago). Must prioritise that soon!

I've known Selena for nearly 30 years now. Only ever met once in the flesh, but we live in different countries. She writes excellent film reviews, as well as episode reviews. English is her second language, but even 30 years ago, her English was very good, and now her written English is better than most native speakers.

We met at a theatre trip I'd arranged for Blakes 7 fans to see Gareth Thomas (Blake) and to hear her discussing Titania's background with him was a revelation. Two people who knew the play and its influences in depth, both enjoying talking to someone who really got it.
The rest of us just sat back and listened in fascination.

Gareth was an absolute love. He loved living in Scotland, but said it did terrible things to his work, as English agents promptly forgot about him.

I use to write reams of B7 fanfic and edited several zines in pre-internet days.
