Favourite interactive fiction games

vivdunstanI was asked earlier what my favourite interactive fiction games are. A really hard question! My answer: Infocom’s Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Graham Nelson’s Curses and IFComp winning The Wizard Sniffer. All traditional parser text adventures, though I love choice based too. I’ve been playing IF since 1980, when I first tried Colossal Cave on an Apple II. So many fond memories. I also recommend checking IFComp winners from last 28 years. Many superb games in that list.
