Next reading

Nearing the end of reading 2 fantasy novels - Wheel of Time book 3 and Library of the Dead, an occult urban fantasy set in a dystopian Edinburgh. And now musing my next fiction read. I’m thinking Wodehouse or Christie for a genre change. Bertie W will probably win for the laughs.

I plan to write mini reviews here of both fantasy books.

I’ll be doing my next current reading post - for May - in the next week.

I've just started Library of the Dead. Holding my attention better than Rapture by Kameron Hurley which I barely finished (it was perilously close to the 8 Deadly Words).

I know you've got a lot you want to watch anyway, but some of the things I've been watching have shorter episodes which might be good for you at times. Inside Job and Undone are 30 min approx animated shows. Inside Job is very light-hearted and although there are a lot of cultural references in there, you don't have to be paying attention to them all the time to enjoy the story and the jokes.

Many thanks for the recommendations, yes shorter is good.

I’ve been enjoying Mythic Quest on Apple TV, which has very short episodes. Though even then it may take me quite a few watches to get through each one :)

Thanks again for the recommendations. Both of those series were already on my watch lists, on Netflix and Amazon Prime respectively. But I’m now more aware of them so they are essentially bumped up priority wise.
