Using a Hobonichi paper journal

Continuing my Benny relisten/listen, and on to this one, where she's dealing with a new baby, and two wannabe dads: the baby's real dad Adrian, a Killoran wolf/ape-like person, and Jason, Benny's on-off human beau. It's complicated. Not least because the baby's birth was covered in a book, not in the ongoing audio series. The audio tries to recap what happened, but in a comedic split up way, that doesn't really work.
Comedy runs throughout the audio, with Benny constantly quipping her way through difficult situations, and the team up of rivals Adrian and Jason is not any less amusing. On the one hand it's an entertaining listen, and amusing. But I can't help but feel disturbed how the deeper issues are often being ignored, not least by Benny herself. Though, to be fair, Adrian and Jason have a very frank talk about 3/4 through.
Like many early Benny audios this has a very small cast, but it's well acted. And big highlight for me: Benny's spherical robot assistant Joseph is back again.
So fun, but perhaps too comedic for me this time.
