Babylon 5 rewatch: A Distant Star

Just got to this early season 2 episode. Which neither of us could remember. And oh boy so many of the guest cast were not good actors. The writing of the main story was also not great. I suspect we probably skipped this episode in some previous rewatches. Though have seen it at least once. However Franklin trying to make the chief staff lose weight was extremely entertaining, and much better written, and acted than the supposed main plot! I also found the Sheridan turnaround a bit convenient. But I loved much that Delenn said to him. Especially this quote: “The universe puts us in places where we can learn. They are never easy places. They are right. Wherever we are is the right place at the right time. Pain sometimes comes. It is part of the process of constantly being born.“
