That was fun! I hope we'll see her again in Who at some point, maybe at another musical boiling point.

Biscuits are something the UK does well.

If not as well as the Italians. Though I think I might prefer a jammie dodger from a packet to a biscotti from a packet. It's when the latter are fresh from the oven that they stomp the opposition...

My favourites are Scottish shortbread, especially fingers. So more ish. But I'm also extremely partial to Maryland cookies. My husband can scoff a whole biscuit caddy of them in one go, if he doesn't restrain himself!

Maryland cookies look great! (I had to look them up -- initially thought 'Maryland?? As in made in Baltimore?? But I guess it's what a UK company in the 1950s may have thought sounded peak American).

Yup! It's an American named British biscuit. That is melt in the mouth delicious.
