Current watching: Good Omens season 2
Continuing with this, just about managing to fit an episode in a week in the short gap we have before Doctor Who is back and Eurovision is on. Usually we watch Good Omens late on a Friday night, but this week we had to bump our Sunday evening Babylon 5 viewing and use its slot to keep on track with Good Omens.
I'm enjoying it, but this second season is patchy, and often feels like filler. The rapport between Crowley and Aziraphale continues to be a delight. I'm also enjoying the almost mirror plot involving Nina and Maggie. The guest cast is amazing. We've just been amused at a League of Gentlemen mini reunion in episode 4. And so many Tennant/Davison family members earlier in episode 2. But the storytelling feels stretched. That said I'm happier watching it than not. And especially keen to see Good Omens season 3, which will include the plot that was worked out one night by Terry Pratchett _and_ Neil Gaiman.
