In parts of the UK (e.g. England) most people have to pay a small admin fee for each prescription, or buy a longer-term prepayment certificate which can be effective if they are getting many. But in Scotland prescriptions are free for all. People in the UK do not have to pay drug costs for prescriptions. It's part of our NHS coverage.

Yes I like "pill pot" too! I recently upgraded to this new whizzier model, as I was adding more and more chunky pills. It accommodates them well. Though this doesn't include the many pills (at least half as much again) I take at a different time of day.

My husband fills my pill pot each week for me.
