Net zero

I've recently been reading much more about climate change. And it is the most horrifying thing ever. The planet is facing an existential crisis. Without rapid huge changes it will be barely liveable in for future generations. Watering down hugely net zero policies is not responsible politics. Nor is pretending that doing so can still deliver the required results. Shame on Sunak. Shame on the Tories. We need to act decisively now.

Sunak was literally one of the people involved in the financial scandal that led to the 2007/8 financial crisis, and exacerbated it while the fallout was happening. While he's less obviously unhinged than his three predecessors as Tory PM, he's certainly never been less evil, and even more committed to asset-stripping and vulture capitalism.

In other words, this is really no surprise to me.

Indeed. This year's data is very worrying, as much of it is not just showing the previous climate model's worst case scenarios, but even worse ones such as the Antarctic sea ice levels as well as heat bubbles in NA and Asia.
