I haven't read that series. I did like Grandville et seq., though, so I should maybe give this one a try.

It’s very trippy and rather bonkers, but I really like. Incredibly creative, strong scifi / alternative history combo. And Bryan Talbot’s artwork is gorgeous.

I see Big Finish did an audio version with David Tennant (just pre 10th Doctor) and Paul Darrow.

Yup it’s superb, if sometimes baffling. One of the best soundscapes in any of their audios.

The sequel audio is coming out in the autumn. David Tennant starting again.

When the original came out it was amusing to hear David Tennant have to say “Rose” a lot …
