I know you've got a lot you want to watch anyway, but some of the things I've been watching have shorter episodes which might be good for you at times. Inside Job and Undone are 30 min approx animated shows. Inside Job is very light-hearted and although there are a lot of cultural references in there, you don't have to be paying attention to them all the time to enjoy the story and the jokes.
